Combat

Star Fire
A fire oriented combat spell which attacks a single target with devastating force.  Uses the Elemental Effect of Fire.

Detection

Detect Emotions
This spell is designed to lear the overall mood or the true feelings of any person near enough to the casting magician.  It can reveal happiness, fear, anger, or any other emotion.  It operates by instilling the magician with the same internal sensations, although it does not identify the source of the emotions.

Health

Haste
(Increase Running Multiplier)
This spell is designed to increase the running speed of any character by increasing the number the Quickness is multiplied by to reach the running speed.  For example, when a human runs, they may run at a rate of Quickness x 3.  When Haste-1 is cast on them, they may run at Quickness x 4.  Each Haste- spell is different.  So to increase the running multiplier by one is one spell, while to increase it by two is another spell, and so on.

Remove Scars
This spell is a favorite among corp-suits and other upper-class folks.  It removes unsightly blemishes of all kinds from the skin, as well as making it appear smooth and radiant.

Illusion

Voice Mimic
This spell is designed to alter the voice of the person it is cast upon.  It changes the voice to whatever the magician, or the target, desires.  The voice shows up as natural on any voice recognition test, and any straining of the vocal cords simply makes it sound as though the natural voice is being played with.  To change the person's voice back to its original sound, the spell is simply dropped from being sustained.  In order to change the sound of the voice to a different sound, the spell must be re-cast.

Blind
With this spell, the caster can place a magical shroud over the eyes of a specific target or targets, causing them to lose their sense of sight.  This shroud blinds them until the casting magician stops sustaining its effects.

Scare
This spell is designed for no other purpose than to frighten off others.  It works by surrounding the caster's hands with magical energy which whirls and bubbles with mana.  It appears to others as the beginnings of a deadly spell, but is really nothing more than a harmless vision.

Manipulation

Hail
This spell causes the moisture in the air to become ice and hail down upon a specific target.  However, it is an area effect spell, and is more of a nuisance than a viable attack spell.  It does not carry the Elemental Effects of Ice.  However, a good attack with the spell is to strategically place it and have it rain down continuously.

Ice Storm
Similar to the Hail spell, Ice Storm freezes the moisture in the air and causes it to become ice.  However, the Ice Storm spell makes a sudden pummeling of opponents with the ice pellets it creates.  It is an Area Effect Spell and uses the Elemental Effects of Ice.

Disfigure
This manipulation spell induces the dermal system on any (meta-)human to produce dense scar tissue over a wide area.  The results can be devastating to a corporate meeting, if the suit is hit with this spell at the right time.  However, although the spell is permanent, the effects fade away instantly if the spell caster's concentration is broken before he completes the spell.  Although the results do not lower the Charisma attribute, it can cause tremendous modifiers to be imposed upon all Social skills.

Lightning
According to this spells hermetic explanation, it ionizes the molecules in the target to a negative charge.  Then, the spell ionizes the air around the target with a positive electrical charge.  The result is a jarring jolt of electricity passing from the air to the target.  It also entails the Elemental Effects of Lightning.

Chronoport
This is a spell that operates on a simple principle, but one that can only be accomplished with magic.  It encases the target in a shell of magical energy.  This shell disappears into astral space, then reappears in the physical world at the time the magician designates.  During the time the shell is in astral space, it is vulnerable to magical attack, but the person inside is helpless to fight back.  For the person inside of the shell, it is as if no time has elapsed.  The spell, to simplify it, works increments of three seconds, or combat turns.  However, it can only send someone FORWARDS in time.

Teleport
This spell operates by encasing the target in an astral shell, launching them into astral space, and then replacing them at a different location in physical space.  No time elapses between when they go from one location to the other.  It operates in increments of meters.  (i.e. Teleport from "A" to "B" over 21 meters.)
