Details: | An orbital prison colony, the "new" Bastille is set aside for only the most dangerous criminals. Its inmates include a former yakuza oyabun who was convicted of commissioning over two-hundred murders and had been sprung from prison twice before; a decker with a cranial cyberdeck who had hacked his way into a prison mainframe and forged orders to have himself released; and an otherwise physically frail mage who had killed well over a hundred people with magic. Operating with the highest possible security, the Bastille is considered one of the last options for criminal detention, used only under extreme cases, and only after approval of the UN's UGCJ. |

question: Exactly how bad do you have to be to nail yourself a cell
in an orbital prison colony such as this?]<<<<< >>>>>[Pretty
damn bad, I'd say. Did you notice those "sample" prisoners
listed above?]<<<<< >>>>>[POSTED:
To get yourself a lifetime paid vacation to the fabulous Club Bastille,
you need to meet the following two criteria: (1) Have committed a crime
(or series of crimes) on an international level such that you are brought
before an UGCJ Tribunal. --AND-- (2) Proven yourself a threat despite
incarceration in the highest security penitentiaries on the face of
the Earth.]<<<<< >>>>>[Yep.
That's pretty damn bad.]<<<<< |
