The Crescent International Director of Magical Security.  Gail Andross is a self-initiated mage of the fourth order.  Determined and level headed, she grew up in the CAS, near Atlanta.  She studied magical theory beginning in high school and became enthralled by it.  She majored in Magical Theory with a concentration in Spell Design and a minor in Applied Spellcasting.  She went on to get her ThD from the University of North Carolina and was recruited to be an associate security mage at a small company in Tacoma (Seattle).  There, she continued her education, earning a masters in Practical Conjuration.  Then, by chance, she was discovered by Crescent International and hired as their Director of Magical Security.  Andross is understandably frustrated as of late with her position within the company.  With less emphasis being placed by the Board of Directors on astral matters, she is forced to contend with a shrinking budget and even less support than had been given her in the first place.  Currently, her core staff consists of two Senior Associate Magicians (both self-initiated grade two mages), and six Associate Magicians (four mages, a Coyote shaman, and a Wolf shaman).  From time to time various freelance magicians work with the C.I. magical security team, although she typically dislikes the maverick attitudes she inevitably comes across in this manner.
