A street-side information broker and self-styled new-wave pimp, Cassius is a dreadlocked fixer upon whom many a Baltimore-area runner relies. Although he claims that he deals primarily in information, Cassius' bread-and-butter lies in prostitution. However, he merely provides protection for the men and women he refers to as "freelance flesh entertainment specialists."
Cassius' reputation among the "freelance" prostitutes of Baltimore City approaches godlike status. The streetlore seems to indicate that he has spent every effort of his adult life in a near-constant battle to keep local Yakuza cells from encroaching upon the established businesses of the various "free prostitute rings." While he is often successful in undermining the efforts of various Yakuza cells to eliminate the existing independent hustlers, he has not succeeded in stopping them altogether. Nevertheless, Cassius has received the utmost praise and favor from the free prostitute rings, primarily because he asks for no money in exchange for his services. Consequently, they often find alternative methods of compensating him for his efforts. While this compensation rarely comes in the form of cash, it often comes as fence-able goods or information.
Despite his status as a street-side fixer, Cassius has the poise and decorum of a high society member. With an extensive vocabulary and eloquent manner of speech, one would wonder why he spends most of the time slinging slang with street hoods and hustlers. His manner is very upstanding and he has no known criminal record.
