Essentially a corporate wannabe, this self-styled up-scale/high-class fixer works the Washington-Baltimore circuit, milking it for whatever it's worth. The Shoreman tends to focus on the pertinent interaction of corporate and government data, making it his business to stay abreast of both areas and their intermingling middle ground.
Until recently, the Shoreman's main source of income was a prostitution ring. Catering primarily to government officials and upper echelon corporate executives (a surprising number of whom secretly held nobilis-fetishes, sought ingentis dominatrixes, or simply had to have cocktails of hypnotics to get off), Cordell Trent very quickly discovered that he could use his prostitutes as his eyes and ears. Gathering sensitive information by way of pillow-talk and/or in exchange for continued sexual privacy, the Shoreman began marketting himself as an information broker to other area fixers. The demand for and value of this information was so high that it rapidly became a more profitable enterprise than prostitution. However, given that prostitution is the source of the majority of this information, Trent has yet to discontinue his involvement in this business.
Although Trent possesses a great deal of very sensitive information about very powerful individuals, he has yet to sell that information. Also, Trent himself is a markedly private individual about whom very little is known. What is known, however, is that he avoids dealing in tangible goods whenever possible, is very particular about methods of payment, and is always accompanied by at least one bodyguard.
