Chimaeric Transimplantation
After years of research,
scientists in the field of molecular genetics have finally been able to produce
the first stable hybrid DNA crosses between metahuman races. Although the practical
applications of this field are as yet undeveloped, several successful experiments
have already demonstrated some of its capabilities. DNA from Homo sapiens
pumilionis has been hybridized with the genotypes from all of the major
races, manifesting a marked increase in autoimmune functional capacity thresholds
and muscular density. In a similar study, the hypothesized effects of hybridizing
ingentis DNA with others was found to be true in slightly increasing
muscular density as well as causing the formation of characteristic dermal deposits.
Although the full commercial release of these treatments is being delayed until
further studies can be completed, some of them are currently being marketed.
Ask you local genetic physician about chimaeric transimplantation if you are
interested.
>>>>>[Yeah,
right, and let them experiment on my sweet ass? Over my dead body.]<<<<<
>>>>>[I
don't know about all of ya'll, but this seems just a little more than
a little sketchy to me. I mean, come on, this little blurb is so vague.]<<<<<
>>>>>[But
they almost don't have to be specific. Like they said, the technology
is still relatively experimental. Its implications are scary though. Genetics
have succeeded where eugenics have failed.]<<<<< >>>>>[They
also neglect to bring light to the fact that they don't really have control
of the hybridization once it takes hold. Half the time the DNA doesn't
"stick" and the other half the time it takes its own course. When they
talk about their little "delays," they're referring to the fact that they
don't want to come out with it commercially until they can say "Okay,
we'll just give you this Dwarven liver DNA and your immune system will
be bumped up a notch.]<<<<< >>>>>[Okay,
Mr. Smartguy, then what's the deal with the technology now?]<<<<< >>>>>[He
just explained that. The effects are unpredictable. They could "transimplant"
you (whatever that means) with Dwarf DNA with the intention of beefing
up your immune system and you could end up the size of one. And that could
be hell if you're a troll. (Don't flame me! This is all just for example!)]<<<<< >>>>>[Side
note: You wouldn't even be hearing about this if the technology had stayed
in its keepers hands. This is the result of Yamatetsu stealing decades
of research from the Center for Alternative Human Genetics in Portland,
Maine. So, just as note in case any of you jokers think getting one of
these jobs done is your next key step...and the quack screws up your whole
genetic make-up...that's where you should go for treatment]<<<<< |
