Metapsylocine,
a.k.a. Coyote
Flesh
(as derived from Psilocyn metapsycli)
An awakened strain of psychoactive
mushroom, Psilocyn metapsycli, more commonly known as the Coyote Face
Mushroom, has light brown stems and caps, with distinctive disc shaped "eyes"
on the caps which are colored black and yellow. Metapsylocine is a compound
found in the Coyote Face Mushroom that gives it its psychoactive qualities.
When Coyote Face Mushrooms are taken ritually in certain Native American communities
in the Pacific Northwest, it is called "Coyote Flesh" and supposedly
enhances the consumer's astral sensitivity. However, there is debate in the
scientific community about whether or not the mushrooms actually increase astral
sensitivity or whether their hallucinogenic properties simply mimic astral perception
and/or projection.

G6C. I'll skip the long story about Lone Star and the drawn-out diplomatic
battle between the city and the S-S Council but what it comes down to
is that citizens of NAN member states have full protection under the
law as far as this Coyote Flesh thing goes. The substance is controlled
(making it, I suppose, quasi-legal) and it remains illegal for them
to sell it to non-NAN citizens. However, that last bit is sort of irrelevant
anyway since Salish shamans hold Coyote Flesh up in reverence and wouldn't
dream of letting it into the hands of some pink fleshed hippy just trying
